'Sanctuary Of The Night' is a project I've done under the name Orphiká.

In this occasion I've explored the myth of Orpheus and the late orphic texts with experimental, dark ambient, drone, noise, traditional and neo-classical or modern classical music.

My intention has been working in a very raw way, even at the time of editing all this material, so that having a very raw and essential outcome.

The same applies to the art cover of this album. A very low quality image I found of an ancient Greek vase depicting Orpheus, which was cracked into pieces and recomposed again roughly. All of that represents perfectly what this album is about.
